For as long as ZJ can remember, his dad has been everyone's hero. As a charming, talented pro football star, he's as beloved to the neighborhood kids he plays with as he is to his millions of adoring sports fans. But lately life at ZJ's house is anything but charming. His dad is having trouble remembering things and seems to be angry all the time. ZJ's mom explains it's because of all the head injuries his dad sustained during his career. ZJ can understand that—but it doesn't make the sting any less real when his own father forgets his name. As ZJ contemplates his new reality, he has to figure out how to hold on tight to family traditions and recollections of the glory days, all the while wondering what their past amounts to if his father can't remember it. And most importantly, can those happy feelings ever be reclaimed when they are all so busy aching for the past?


從ZJ有記憶開始，他的父親就是大家心目中的英雄。作為一位迷人、才華橫溢的職業足球明星，他不但深受與他一起踢球的社區孩子們的歡迎，還有好幾百萬熱愛他的體育迷。但最近ZJ家裡發生的事一點也不迷人。他的父親逐漸忘事，動不動就發脾氣。ZJ的媽媽解釋說，這是因為他父親在職業生涯中頭部受過傷。雖然ZJ能理解--但當他父親忘了他的名字時，他心裡還是相當難受。當ZJ思考他家裡這種新的狀況時，他必須好好思考如何維持家庭傳統和對輝煌歲月的回憶，同時思考萬一他的父親真的失憶了，過去一切所代表的意義。最重要的是，當他們都糾結在過去的傷痛時，還能找回那些幸福的感受嗎？
