Jim Parham is most well known as the author of mountain bike and road bike guidebooks. In this, his first guidebook for hikers, he uses his deep knowledge of trails on north Georgia's public lands to guide hikers to waterfalls of all kinds, from popular destinations like Amicalola Falls at Amicalola Falls State Park, to major rapids like Bull Sluice on the Wild and Scenic Chattooga River and the remote cascades of Three Forks in Chattahoochee National Forest.
