The Shop on Blossom Street
A Good Yarn isn’t just Seattle’s go-to store for knitting supplies, it symbolizes a fresh, cancer-free life for owner Lydia Hoffman. It’s also the place where she’s begun offering a class, How to Make a Baby Blanket, which brings three other women together to discover more than a few new stitches.
Jacqueline Donovan doesn’t approve of her daughter-in-law, but this project may be the olive branch she needs to make things right with her only son’s family. For Carol Girard, the baby blanket represents her and her husband’s hope at finally conceiving. Alix Townsend, on the other hand, is tackling this project due to a court-ordered community service project.
Leaning over their knitting needles, the four of them discover more than they thought possible about each other and themselves. Join them in these deeply special moments that form the beginning of a friendship that will last a lifetime!
