Hang Out! Plus is a seven-level coursebook series designed specifically for elementary learners of English. A fully updated revision of our bestselling Hang Out! series, Hang Out! Plus includes all-new illustrations and animations, an increased CEFR exit level, new pages dedicated to grammar, writing, and projects, and more. This comprehensive language program is developed around a CEFR-based curriculum.

It gradually takes students from producing simple phrases to complex sentences in a widening range of topic areas and situations. Through vivid illustrations, realistic readings, and engaging comics and animations, students follow a family and their friends in their daily lives, building knowledge of high-frequency vocabulary, common grammar structures, and useful expressions.

Each unit is carefully structured to introduce target language and build students’ confidence so they can engage in various projects by the end of the unit. As students progress through the series, the projects teach academic skills such as researching information, debating, and giving a speech.
