Designed to support IB Language ab initio Spanish students, it is the first of two student's books covering the two year course. Containing material designed to engage older teenaged learners, the Cuaderno de ejercicios requires students to think and reflect at an intellectual level suitable for the IB Diploma student. Adopting an international approach, Panarama hispanohablante 1: Cuaderno de ejercicios places a strong emphasis on Spanish's position as a world language, helping to generate intercultual understanding of hispanophone culture. ToK and CAS are fully integrated into learning, all language is taught and practised in context and audio exercises are built into each unit (the audio files for the exercises are in the teacher's pack).
