Alyssa Satin Capucilli is the outstanding author of all the Biscuit books. She and her family live in a book-filled home in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. Alyssa finds inspiration for Biscuit's adventures as she takes long walks through the woods with her chocolate lab, Huckleberry. Pat Schories is the illustrator of the Biscuit I Can Read books as well as her owe wordless picture books. Her dog, Spike-a black retriever-was the model for Biscuit.
